Definitie van een microcredential
Een microcredential is een bewijs van de leerresultaten die een lerende heeft verworven na een korte leerervaring. Deze leerresultaten zijn beoordeeld aan de hand van transparante normen. Het bewijs is opgenomen in een gecertificeerd document dat de naam van de houder, de behaalde leerresultaten, de beoordelingsmethode, de uitreikende instelling en, indien van toepassing, het niveau van het kwalificatiekader en de behaalde studiepunten vermeldt. Micro-credentials zijn eigendom van de lerende, kunnen gedeeld worden, zijn overdraagbaar en kunnen gecombineerd worden tot grotere referenties of kwalificaties. Ze worden ondersteund door kwaliteitsborging volgens overeengekomen normen.

Feedback van regiegroep Pilot Microcredentials
Ten eerste met betrekking tot de in de wiki opgenomen suggesties met betrekking tot mcs volgens de europese commissie t.a.v. de metadatavelden.
Vanuit de vertegenwoordigers van de koepels hierover de volgende feedback:
Ad 3 - de voorgestelde mogelijkheden lijken goed te passen.
Bij Ad 10 en Ad 12 de zouden wij graag de optie 'naar keuze deelnemer' (by choice of participant) toevoegen op basis van ervaringen in de instellingen.
Participatie in leeractiviteiten is namelijk niet altijd verplicht en/of eenduidig. Trajecten kunnen ook bewust leerwegonafhankelijk worden aanboden. Dit geldt ook voor toetsing. Er bestaat aanbod waarbij de deelnemer zelf mag voorstellen hoe hij of zij de leeruitkomsten aantoont.
Advies regiegroep pilot microcredentials m.b.t. metadatavelden dienst edubadges
Het advies van de regiegroep met betrekking tot de inrichting van de metadatavelden van de dienst op basis van input van de instellingen is de genoemde velden optioneel toe te voegen.
Bij de Velden ‘Form of participation in learning activity’ en ‘Form of assessement’ adviseert de regiegroep de volgende antwoordmogelijkheid toe te voegen, om aan te sluiten bij de Nederlandse onderwijscontext:

Definition of a Microcredential
A microcredential is a proof of the learning outcomes that a learner has acquired following a short learning experience. These learning outcomes have been assessed against transparent standards.The proof is contained in a certified document that lists the name of the holder, the achieved learning outcomes, the assessment method, the awarding body and, where applicable, the qualifications framework level and the credits gained. Micro-credentials are owned by the learner, can be shared, are portable and may be combined into larger credentials or qualifications. They are under-pinned by quality assurance following agreed standards.

Firstly, regarding the suggestions included in the wiki regarding mcs according to the european commission regarding metadata fields.
From the umbrella representatives on this, the following feedback:
Re 3 - the proposed options seem a good fit.
In Ad 10 and Ad 12 the we would like to add the option 'by choice of participant' based on experiences in the institutions.
After all, participation in learning activities is not always compulsory and/or unambiguous. Pathways can also be offered deliberately independent of learning pathways. This also applies to assessment. There are offers where the participant may propose how he or she demonstrates learning outcomes.
Advice of the direction group pilot microcredentials with regard to the metadata fields of the edubadges service
Based on input from the institutions, the direction group's recommendation regarding the design of the service's metadata fields is to optionally add the aforementioned fields.
For the Fields 'Form of participation in learning activity' and 'Form of assessment', the direction group recommends adding the following response option, to fit the Dutch educational context:
