Educational institutions have all kinds of education data that they can exchange in order to facilitate student mobility and make education more flexible. Examples include data about the education on offer, timetables, and academic progress information. In order to make this data more widely available across institutions, institutions need a central connection point where this data can be provided by the institution to various data customers in a uniform and secure manner. Developers familiar with these are able to connect services within a months work. Take your time to get to know the OOAPI standard. This Open Onderwijs Application Programming Interface (open educational application programming interface) standard is used in many sectors.
