Solution

In most cases, if you see this error the attribute 'mail' is missing. If you login through an institution (e.g. university, research institution, etc.) please contact the local help desk of your institution; they will help you solve this problem.

If you use the guest Identity Provider Onegini, you probably see this error because your email address is not yet verified by Onegini. Onegini sends you a separate email for this after registering your account. So please check your inbox and look for the verification email from Onegini; it contains a link that will verify your email address. (Don't forget to also check your Spam folder.) If you haven't received the email from Onegini you can go to www.onegini.me and click 'Personal Info', then 'verify' next to the email address you entered during registration. Onegini will then resend the verification email.
