By default Research Drive will keep a version for 14 days, this can be longer on a branded environment. Please contact your local IT Servicedesk service desk for the exact period.

A version of a file can be restored, by clicking on the details icon ('three dots') behind the file or folder.


Then go to the "Versions" tab, where all available versions of the file are listed. An earlier version can be restored via the reverse arrow.

Trash binTrashbin

When a file is deleted, it will be moved to the Research Drive Trashbintrash bin.

We have The community edition has a 30-day retention policy for the trashbintrash bin, but this can be longer on a branded environment. Please contact your local IT Servicedesk service desk for the exact period.

The trashbin trash bin can be reached via the web environment, by clicking on "TrashbinDeleted files" at the bottom left.


Within the recycle trash bin you will see a list of all deleted files, which can be restored via the reverse restore arrow.
