In this stage we assume that:

  • You have successfully tested your entity on the test environment.
  • The SURFconext Agreement is in place.
  • Your service meets the security requirements, for example HTTPS, SSL (run your URL through SSLlabs). The SURFconext team will review this prior to pushing the service to production.

Your service has been properly tested and contracts are in place. That means that your service can be promoted to production.

Copy to production

Hover over the three dots and press the 'copy to production' button. The form will open.

Review data

Before pressing on the 'Publish' button on the bottom of the page, review the entries.

Publish service to production

All good? Press 'Publish' to promote your entity to production. Be aware that this does not automatically push the service to the SURFconext production environment (we work on this). Instead a mail will be send to the SURFconext Team. We will review the service and when all good, push the service to staging mode.

Edit production entity

You will find your newly copied production entity in the list under the 'My entities' tab. Editing is possible by hovering over the three dots and press the 'edit' button. Publishing this form will generate a mail to the SURFconext Team. We will inform you as soon as the edits are made.
